COVID SAFETY
At Proston Golf Club, we are working hard to ensure that the health and safety of our guests, golfers & campers is our top priority. We have a COVID-19 Safe plan for our club house, golf and camping to ensure that our hygiene standards are meeting those of the Australian Government. And that our guests, volunteers and members have an enjoyable and safe experience.
What are we doing?
Our staff and volunteers have had comprehensive safety training to effectively achieve the highest criteria of sanitisation practices in alignment with the Australian Department of Health standards. Our cleaning program ensures that public areas of the club will be sanitised more frequently with a specific focus on all high touch areas, including door handles, bathrooms and the bar area – just to name a few.
To reinforce a safe dining experience, our restaurant, and bar service have increased hygiene protocols across all aspects of business. Volunteers practice hygiene through social distancing, frequent disinfection of all surfaces, alcohol-based hand sanitiser and the use of masks & gloves. These standards transition over to food preparation, plating and service to safeguard our guests’ health.
Our volunteers have been strictly advised to please stay at home if they are feeling unwell before their shift.
What can you do?
As Australians, we continue to take the required steps that safeguard our at risk community members from COVID-19 so we ask that our guests, visitors and golfers do the same within our grounds. Please provide proof of vaccination on request, masks at this time will be required when entering, ordering or standing, you can remove them while eating or drinking while seated. We appreciate your understanding that we haven’t made the rules, but we have a legal requirement to ask you to comply with them.
We have provided the necessary protocols to make your health and safety a priority through providing masks & alcohol-based hand sanitiser at your request.
When dining, we ask that contactless payment be made to minimise contact where possible.
